TOBACCO GROWING.
(By Telegraph.—'Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day.. Mr. P. Everett, of the Agricultural Department, who is handling the tobacco growing industry in this district, states that growth was very slow at the beginning of this season owing to a cold,, wet summer, but the late fine"; weather is causing the crop -to . mature rapidly. Nothing has transpired as to marketing and prices.
