PASSENGER TRAINS.
HUNTIY-GLEN AFTON LIJfE. EXTRA ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED. At the instigation of the miners in the Huntly district, the Railway Department has decided to make alterations in the Huntly-Pukemiro and Huntly-Glen Afton time-tables. The matter was discussed between Mr. E. Casey, divisional superintendent for North Island railways, and representatives of the miners' unions. In future a passenger ear will be attached to the 5.30 p.m. Huntly-Puke-miro train as well as on the return service leaving Pukemiro at 6.30 p.m. This train will run daily, with the exception of Saturday.
From Saturday next a passenger train will be dispatched from Huntly for Glen Afton at 10.45 p.m. for the convenience of theatre patrons. Tie return train will leave Glen Afton at 0.10 a.m. on Sundavs.
