The operations of the speculative element have been giving the Sydney Stock Exchange concern, and it is understood that the Exchange committee has been, and is, considering the advisability or otherwise or placing some restriction on forward business in such stocks as banks, breweries and industrials. WOOL INDUSTRY. AUCKLAND'S NEXT SALE. PROBABLE OFFERINGS. The third and last wool sale of the season in Auckland will commence at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 28. As near as can be judged at present the offering will total about 16,000 bales. STABILISATION PROJECT. LONDON, March 16. Various suggestions have been made at Bradford regarding the stabilisation of) wool prices and the allocation of quanti-i ties for the sales. The most important proposal is the appointment of a strong international committee composed of growers, buyers and users to draft a generally acceptable scheme for marketing the balance of the clip.
