RUGBY FOOTBALL.
GRAFTON CLUBS. Tlie annual meeting of the Grafton Rugby Football Club, held in the club's training shed, was well attended. Mr. Arthur Paull occupied the chair. The balance-sheet disclosed the fact that the club was in a very healthy financial position. The report and balance-sheet was adopted. Medals donated during the season were won by John Hammond (senior grade), S. Scott and H. Glenn (juniors), Geo. Lendrum (intermediate), W. Urwin (fourth grade). Officers for the ensuing season were elected as follows: Patron, W. McKeich; president, Sir .Tames Gunson: Vice-presi-dents, same as last year; secretary, T. McConnell; committee. Messrs. Nixon, Keary, Cameron, Wakerley, Gasparich and V. Hargreaves: selection committee, team captain, club captain., and >the secretary: delesates A.R.F.U., Messrs. Cameron. Wakerley and Martin; club captain, T. Marshall; deputy, G. Lawrence; delegate J.M.8., C. 11. Worsfold. ' Mr. H. Frost, chairman of the Manag«ment committee A.R.F. Union, was present and addressed tlie meeting. A number of new members were admitted -to the club. It was decided to start training operations on March '27. Teams will be entered in each grade of the competitions. PAPAMOA CLUB. A -well-attended meeting -was held last evening for the purpose of forming a Papamoa Senior Football Club. Mr. A. .T. Collins was elected president, and Mr. P. Dawson secretary. Delegates to the Rugby Union. Messrs. D. Morgan. H. C. Donovan and E. Palmer. Committee: Messrs. D. Morgan, H. Price, E. Palmer, E. Norton, C. Donovan, Issaac, Tuniii. TE PUKE SUB-UNION. TE PUKE, Friday. The annual meeting of the Te Puke Rutrby Sub-Union was presided over by Mr. J. T. Eccleton. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: Patron. Mr. J. Mahony; president. Mr. .T. Brown: vice-presidentß. Messrs. G. Sweetman, .T. T. Eccleton, T. E. Palmer: auditor, Mr. W. E. Hookey: secretary and treasurer. Mr. A. J. Jamieson; management committee, Messrs. A. S. Cliffe, •T. Courtnev. A. Rvburn. H. O. Cooney, H. Buff. TV, Berqutst. Paul Kirikau, J. E. Alexander, and H. E. Butcher. Messrs. H. Cuff and H. S. Cliffe. with the president, Mr. J. Brown, were appointed delegates to attend the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union on April 5, at Whaka-
