WHANGAREI NOTES.
Mrs. Brabazon lias returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Eanstead, Matangi, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Simmons, Taumarunui, and Mrs. Ansen, Mamaku, are spending a short holiday with Mrs. E. A. Simmons, Mill Road. Mrs. Holmes and Mrs. Foote have returned from a tour, which included Rotorua, Palmerston North and Napier. Mr. and Mrs. F. Crosby, and Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Baker motored through to Auckland on Wednesday to spend a short visit. Mrs. Bevin, Graham Street, has returned to Auckland with her mother, Mrs. Tate. Mrs. Mason, Great South Road, Auckland, is spending a holiday with friends in Whangarei. Mrs. Donaldson is at present in Auckland. Mrs. Hosking is on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Henderson and Miss Mary Carroll have returned from an extended holiday epent in Australia. Mrs. Chandler, Powhiri Avenue, accompanied by Miss Lambly, and Mrs. Bassett, Dargaville, are spending a few weeks at the Ngawha Springs, Kaikohe. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Priest have returned to their home in Hawke's Bay after visiting Mrs. Priest's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Main, Stanley Street. The Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Blair, Waipu, who have been staying with Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Bay ley, of FJlerslie, left on Friday, accompanied by their two daughters, on the Marama, for a trip to England. Miss Cookson, who has been visiting Mrs. Donaldson, has left to visit a sister in Auckland. Mrs. Deverell is on a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andersen and family are spending a holiday at Urquhart's Bay. Mrs. Daines is spending a short holiday in Auckland. Mrs. Wilson, Waverley, recently visited Whangarei. Mrs. Warrington is on a visit to Auckland.
