Waimai team was Otway, Broughton, Upton and Seavill, and Cambridge played Brown, Vosper, Speake and Garland. Cambridge went out to score with decidPil vim, and In the first fmv minutes Vosper and Garland goaled. _ In the second chukka Brown, playing vigorously, registered two. The following chirkkas were well fought out. Waimai gallantly defending, but with no luck m scoring. In the tinal Seavill scored for Waimai and amid cheers the game ended in favour of Cambridge by 14 _to 1. the winners' scorers beinjr Speake (•">), Brown (5), Garland (2) and Vosper (2). Mr. John McXieol was umpire. Matangi C 9, beat Waihou 84. This was a well fought out ?ame. but the winners showed the best combination. W.iiliou played with considerable dash individually, iSpe'nce.
