ARCHITECT'S COMPETITION.
Two prizes of £70 and £30 have been offered by the Amalgamated Brick and Tile Co.,' Ltd., in order to demonstrate tiie cheapness, attractiveness and facility of construction of brick homes. The prizes are intended to inaugurate a competitive spirit in the designing and popularising of this type of house. The company has fixed the limit of the estimates for construction at £1000. and will consider the building of a home according to the plans and specifications of the prize-winning entry. Up to d ate about 30 designs have been received.-
