Mr. Justice Blair, in giving judgment to-day, said the evidence given by .the valuers, who had disregarded the varying depths of the sections fronting on Lambton Quay in arriving at their prices a foot, had been of little, if any, assistanoe to the Court. The Court awarded in full compensation £20,000. As to interest, the question had been settled between the parties by the Crown's agreeing to pay, and Henrys agreeing to accept, the rent of £37 a week from .the date of the proclamation taking the land down to date. To the assessors the Court awarded £125 each, to be paid by the Crown. The judge added that the award was not unanimous.
