TRANSPORT TO SCHOOL.
KEREOHE REQUEST REFUSED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AROHA, Friday. Replying to a request from Mr. C. H. Clinkard, M.P., for the transport of school children to the Kereone school, the Minister of Education, Hon. H. Atmore, states that ,he is informed that the majority v of the children live within a reasonable' distance of the school, only two being, four miles distant. 1 For this reason he is unable to grant the request.
