FINAL DAY AT DEVONPORT.
Prince of Orange Lifts Wynyard Plate. HONITON'S MOANA HANDICAP. HIGH-WEIGHT TO KING'S GUARD. VALUATION TAKES SPRINT. The going is heavy at Devonport for the second day of the Takapuna Jockey Club's Summer Meeting, but despite the wet weather which set in this morning, there is quite a satisfactory attendance. Honiton and Chromadyne again paid the dividends in the opening event. First day's form also worked out well in the High-weight, for Luminary was scratched. King's Guard and Cybele filled the principal places. Prince of Orange beat Volimond in the Wynyard Plate, with Helium third. The first leg of the double, the Durban Handicap, was captured by Valuation, who beat Eaglet and Cynthea N. 0
