THE LORD MAYOR'S COACH.
The Lord Mayor's coach was built in 1757, and weighs 3 tons 17 cwt. It is so wonderfully proportioned that a man 6ft high could stand in the coach with a top-hat on and yet not touch the top. The panels were painted by an Academician. They are detachable, and are insured for £16,000.
