GENEVA DELEGATES.
THREE FROM NEW ZEALAND. 1 METHOD OF SELECTION. New Zealand will have three representatives at the International Labour Conference to be held at Geneva in May. The Government is now inviting nominations from the trade unions and. employers' associations, and the final selection will be made by ballot in a manner similar to the election of assessors to the Arbitration Court. The workers, employers and the Government will each have a delegate. It is announced that Mr. T. Blood worth has consented to nomination on behalf of the trade unions. New Zealand would have been represented at the 1929 Geneva conference but for the fact that there was insufficient time for the carrying out of the official arrangements. In last Parliamentary session the Prime Minister definitely stated that the Dominion would have delegates at the""" conference this year.'
