WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

' McKENZIE—LOVEGROVE. St. >• Luke's Church,. .Mount Albert, was the scene' this morning of the wedding, of.Miss Daphne Iris Lovegroye, second daughter of Mr. and Mrsi. George Lovegfove,'of.St..Andrew's Road, Epsom, and Mr. John Menzie McKenzie, youngest son of; the late Mr, and Mrs. Nigel McKenzie, of Port William, Scotland. The Rev. A. J. , Beck > officiated. : The bride came down the aisle on the arm of. her .father. . She wore a, pretty gown of gold French lace, plainly made with pointed skirt,' long sleeves, and a large, French bow ; at the back. A picture hat of _,crinoline";;'straw to .tone with her frock was-worn,, and she carried a bouquet'of autumn tinted flowers. Mrs. R. Thomas was matron, of honour, and 'wore shell pink taffeta with bouffant skirt and uneven hemline. Her hat was of pink -crinoline, and she carried a bouquet of pale pink flowers. The best man was Mi*. P. Wild. After the cere-' mony a reception ;, was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk, which was arranged with fragrant; flowers for the occasion. Mrs- Lovegroye received her "guestswearing a frock of fawn coloured georgette and hat to match. .. SHARP—GROVES. The marriage took place at the chapel of St;' John the Divine, Epsom,' this morning of Miss' Pele Sunui"■''.Groves,' youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Groves, of Samba, ward of Mr. and' Mrs. John Carter, of Epsom, to Mr. Eric Frank George Sharp, of Whangarei. The 'Rev. H.H. Banks officiated at (the altar, The bride was given away by Mr.' J. Carter. She wore a charming gown of palest pink georgette, with simple loose bodice and skirt' ranging to long pointe. A large square cape collar made a distinctive touch. A veil of very pale pink tulle was kept in place by a circle of orange blossom going right round,the head, and finishing in a cluster/ on one side. The masses of tulle fell softly over the shoulder and formed a train. A beautiful sheaf of carnations and roses was carried. Miss Peggy McLean was the bride's attendant, and wore a frock of willow green georgette with circular sk'irt and cape collar. Her hat ..toned With her\ frock. The bridegroom • was supported by.
