Fascinating as this year's Hairdressing ; Exhibition most certainly is, it is also j slightly terrifyingg '(writes "The Maid ! in Mayfair"). There are so many new aids to beauty; so many more "treatments" which'are now looked upon as a necessity. Most of us already '■ spend 'If ar: more time and money than t we can afford on our coiffures and; our j complexions, and; it: is , devastating to think that what we do is as nothing [ to what we shall be doing in that, direction in a few,years' time. ;Hairdressing, [ in 'fact, grows more and more complicated.
