CLAIM BY ORAKEtMAORIS,
Orakei Maoris are still demanding the return of their land acquired for • the opening of what. is called the Orakei Garden Suburb/ Tlie area involved is 4(3 acres—the home site and the church site. Their petition was before Parliament last year,-the case being referred to at last week's' sitting of the Tokerau Native Land Court. Owing to maiiy engagements, the judge, Mr. FV. 0< V. Acheson, adjourned the hearing for a, date to be •fixed in March. ' '
