RAFFIA COATHANGER.
Coathangers are always useful; silkcovered ones are very pretty 1 and .dainty, but raffia ones are just as nice and much easier to make if you are not fond of sewing.
You want three or four differentcoloured raffias—say, red, then yellow, and yellow. Mark off equal parte of. the wooden hanger, then bind the raffia round, first a strip of red, then yellow, etc. A tiny mascot figure can be tied on at the centre with a big bow and hanger of raffia, a strand of each colour.
