ALPINE SPORTS CLUB.
SUMMER FIXTURE LISTS.
Several interesting trips are planned bv the Auckland branch of the Alpine Sports Club. The programme is as follows: January 12, Orua Bay, Manukau Harbour; January 18 and. 19 (men only), Glen Esk Falls and Anawhata; February 1 and 2. Arkles Bay-Whanga-paraoa; February 9, Tuakau district.
During Easter tnere will be two extended tours. One will be to Tongariro National Park, but the second trip has not yet been announced. Members contemplating mountaineering trips at any time are reminded that the club library contains authoritative works dealing with Alpine sport m its various phases. , Through the kindness of a foundation member° of the club, Mr. W. A. E. Leonard, his hut is now available .for use of small parties of members visiting Anawhata.
