GOVERNMENT'S POLICY. REINFORCEMENT, IF NEEDED. 1 (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The situation in Samca aa considered at length by Cabinet to-day. In noting the Administrator's ' assurance that "the present position did not call for additional assistance, Cabinet decided to advise the Administrator that in the case of further Mau aggression any reinforcements that he might require would be placed at his disposal. The Prime Minister, &'ir Joseph Ward, further stated that the Government was sensible of the duty devolving upon it of ensuring ade.quate protection to the officials and police engaged in the administration of the law in Western Samoa, and it had no intention of deviating from its declared policy in respect of the territory. Law and order would be enforced by whatever means might be found necessary.
