For the third year in succession Chapman's team (Hamilton) won the South Auckland Bowling Centre's tournament, thns performing the hat trick. Ihe final game "was plnyed this morning ,on the Hamilton Club's groen, between Chapman and Adamscn (Thames), a ' previous The'teams were as follow: —Hamilton: W Aitken, E. G. Land, G. Yeoman, W. Chapman (skip\ Thames: J. Boyle, L. Alexander, G. S. Clarke, W. Adamson. The turf wns in excellent condition, and very true, and the weather fine. The play throughout by both teams was excellent, and the score varied considerably. At the eleventh head Chapman was. four up, nnd at the twelfth Chapman led,' 11—10. The fourteenth saw. Adamson leading by 14.t0
The'sixteenth'made both level, 10 all. Chapwian wont up to 51 on the nine* teeiith. Adamson having gained only one mennwhile. On the twentieth hend Chapman wns 21. and Acltunson 17. The final head saw Adnmson lying two, but he pushed his own bowl out, leaving Chapman one on, the game thus concluding, Chapman '21;, Adnmson 17. ...
