PULPIT VOICES.
CHURCH OF CHRIST,
The twenty-third Psalm was expounded at the Church of Christ, West Street, last evening by Pastor W. Campbell, who. said, "The SHepherd of Israel" was one of God's titles. Many might eay "The Lord is my Shepherd," but a most important consideration was, "does He own you as one of His flock?" Sheep were usually branded with red to distinguish the flocke, and only those were owned by the Good Shepherd who were branded, as'by His blood, for He said, "I lay down My life for the sheep." "I .shall not want" raised the whole subject of Christian'experience; those who lived in spirit near to the Shepherd day by day knew indeed that His grace was; sufficient for every human experience. "Yea though I walk in death's dark vale, yet will I fear none ill; for Thou art with me;" this was a real experience, not to be bought with gold or effort, yet open to all who confessed Christ as Saviour. To them He said, "I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish." (John x; 28).
