Chinese Losses In Dispute With Soviet. FIGHTING IN MANCHURIA. (Received 1.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, December- 27. The Mukden Government officially estimates the Chinese casualties in the Chino-Soviet dispute in Manchuria at 10.000 killed, and the monetary loss at equivalent to £10,000,000. These figures represent the directly ascertainable losses. It is believed that _ the Manchurian losses were many times move indirectly. The rupture of.relations between Manchuria and China on the one hand and Russia on the other, was caused by the seizure by the Chinese of the eastern railway in Manchuria. Fighting extended over several months, the Russians invading various Manchurian towns and seizing much territory. The position Chinese became so critical that on November 27 the, Mukden Government concluded a truce with the Soviet and accepted the lattcr's conditions.
