WEEK-END ACCIDENTS.

TWO CARS COLLIDE. MOUNTAIN ROAD CROSSING.' A collision between a light car and a' 5-seater dosed model took place at the junction of Mountain Road and Khyber Pass about 6 o'clock last evening. The closed car. driven by Mr. E. Morgan, of 93, Ponsonby Road, skidded across the road and turned over on its side... Mr. Morgan was cut on the hand, for,which he received attention at the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle, Miss A. Clark, of Okoroire, escaped without injury, but her car was badly damaged. Miss Clark was coming .down Mountain Road, , to cross into Park Road, opposite, and the other car .was coming up the street.' : STRUCK BY TRUCK. ■HIGH STREET ACCIDENT. Crossing High Street at the intersection of Shortland Street a few minutes after noon to-day, a young lady was struck by a motor truck turning into High Street. A wheel knocked her. off her balance and she fell heavily. Fortunately the vehicle was able to pull up promptly. Though suffering from shock, the victim was able to proceed on, her way. TRAIN AND CAR COLLIDE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AROHA, Saturday. A ftve-seator car driven by Mr. Samuel Taylor, of Wailiou- and the FranktoriTauranga train occurred at the Herriesville level crossing shortly after midnight. Mr. Taylor, who was alone, was flung against a jagged hole in the wind shield and his face and head were cut with glasc. He was removed to a private hospital in a semi-conscious condition. Manson, caterer, of Whangarei, capsized over a bank near Waipu, and the vehicle came to rest on its side. On Sunday afternoon a large 'passenger car, owned and driven by Mr. George Hansard, taxi-driver, .. of Whangarei, collided at-a. bend in the road with, a service car owned by Mr. P. Spender, of Rawene, at Waima, near Rawene. ; The front portions of both cars were extensively damaged, and the right side of Mr. Hansard's car was crushed in for the full length of the vehicle. Both cars were fully loaded but all the occupants escaped without injury. THREE CARS COLLIDE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. An unusual collision, involving three motor car-5, occurred in Victoria Street at 11.20 this morning. A two-seater car, owned and driven by Mr. A. K. Weeks, farmer, of Waharoa, struck a new six-seater owned by Samuel Yaile and Sons, and driven by Mr. H. L. Hawk. At the same time the rear of Mr. Weeks' car caught the rear of another large car. The side of Mr. Hawk's car was extensively damaged. Mr. Weeks' car had its forepart twisted and bent. Xo one was injured. CROSSING SMASH. CHRISTCHtJRCH, this day. Jack Atkinson, of Dyers Pass Road, Cashmere, had his right leg and his head injured as the result of the motor car he was driving colliding with a railway engine at the Colombo Street crossing just before one o'clock this morning. PEDESTRIANS KNOCKED DOWN DUXEDIN, this day. William Campbell, aged SS, was admitted to hospital on Saturday suffering from head injuries as the result of being knocked down by a motor car when he was alighting from a tram.

Clarence Umbers, aged 33, is also in hospital suffering from severe head injuries. Ho had just stepped out of a motor car when a motor cycle knocked him down.
