FIXING THE PRICE.
NEW YORK, December 21. The International Paper Company announces through the American Newspaper Publishers' Association that the present price (55 dollars 20 cents per ton) for newsprint will remain unchanged for the first half of 1930. There will be no increase after that date without 30 days' notice being given to newspaper publishers. The Publishers' Association has received word from the Xewsprint Institute of Canada that the price of 60 dollars per ton recently decided upon by some of the larger Canadian newsprint manufacturers will remain unless the market conditions change in the near future. :_■;'.
