GOLF.
HAMILTON CLUB'S YEAR. HAMILTON, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Hamilton Golf Club Dr. 11. Douglas presided over a large attendance. Mr. G. Morpetb. reported that the links were in fairly good order and with the expenditure of further money could be made the best in New Zealand or Australia. Mr. K. B. tiranwell said several hundred trees had been planted, and it was proposed to plant pungas. The elofi tion of officers resulted :—President, Dr. H. Douglas; vice-president, Mr. J. F Strang; secretary, Mr. l>. Champion; committee, Messrs. C. Sutcliffe, W. Wynne, P. G. Russell, A. T. Atkins, T. Simpson, G. E, A. Wilkes, R. B. Cranwell and W. J. King. The question of paying off. money due to the debenture-holders was discussed and finally left to the committee to make arrangements.
