•BATSMEN IN FORM. ADELAIDE, December 21. In the Sheffield Shield match between South Australia and New South Wales South Australia in the first innings made 508 (Pritcliard 148, Richardson 64, Grimmett 30, Whitefield 45). Fairfax took three wickets for 80 runs, Hooker .two for 100, Bradman two for 98. New South Wales, who made 314 in the first innings, in the second innings have made 178 for two wickets (Jackson 82, Bradman 84).
