GISBORNB, this day. Hopes run high concerning Poverty Bay's challenge for the Hawke Cup, which will be played out at Palmerston, starting on December 26. The challenging team nominated has batting and bowling strength, and should, prove smart in the field. Cave will skipper, with Stanley Eeeres, an outstanding batsman, as deputy-leader.
