PAPATOETOE LODGE.
The installation of W. Bro. W. W. Massey and the investiture of officers for the coming year took place at the Papatoetoe "branch of the Masonic Lodge on Tuesday evening. There was a large attendance of visitors from Auckland Lodges. The installing officer was M..W. Bro. Oliver Nicholson, P.G.M., Prov. G.M. The director of ceremonies was V.W. Bro. W. C. Fihnis, G.D. of C. Bro. Massey carried out the investiture of officers as follows: 1.P.M., W. Bro. H. S. Thomas; D.M., W. Bro. H. G. C. Ernest; S.W. Bro. G. Foster; J.W. Bro. D. Penman; chaplain, Bro. E. J. Franks, treasurer, Bro. W. Drake; secretary, Bro. E. D. Wilkinson; D. of C., W. Bro. D. E. Connell; S.D. Bro. P. Edmond; J.D., Bro. J. Melling; 1.G., Bro. G. P. Pennell; S.S., Bro. H. Pricker; J.S., Bro. A. B. Jameson; A.S., Bros. W. Pedlar, G. Owen; tyler, Bro. D. Calder. During the evening musical items were given by Bro. C. Suistcd, W. Bro. Captain Gibbons, W. Bro. Gillespie and Bro. Lamb Harvey. Last evening a Christmas tree for the children of members and also for the Orphan Home, Papatoetoe, was given by the lodge in the Papatoetoe Town Hall.
