JUDGMENT IN TAXI DISPUTE.

WAIHI, this day.
Judgment in favour of the plaintiff Marwfck Williams, taxi proprietor has been given by Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., in the action brought against Herbert Ernest Carter, service-car proprietor, in which plaintiff claimed £35 16/1 for petrol supplied and commission on the sale of tickets. The costs allowed amounted to £10 15/.
The Court found that the issue of "collect" tickets by plaintiff, upon which he was entitled to charge 10 per cent commission, was part of the arranged course of business between defendant as principal and plaintiff as his agent.
