HEAVY HURRICANE.

Big Gale Reported From Suva. NO DAMAGE AS YET. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SUVA, this day. The hurricane centre north of Suva is apparently travelling south-east. There is a heavy gale. At Suva the barometer reading is 29.15 and at Taviuni 28.923. These places are apparently receiving the brunt,of the storm. There are heavy floods at Navua and Rewa Rivers. Water is within six inches of the floor of the Nausori sugar mill and is still rising. No serious damage is yet reported and it is hoped the storm centre will pass north of Fiji.
