WOMAN'S CORPSE.
IN BED FOR MONTH. PARIS, December 6. M. Barlemont, 50, was sentenced at the Oise Assizes to. penal servitude for life for murdering his wife. Barlemont did not work, and his wife supported them both. She wanted a silk dress, but Barlemont objected. They, quarrelled. Barlemont shot her dead, and placed her body in bed. He arranged a crucifix and tjie family photographs at. the head of'the_bed, ; which was surrounded by flowers and ferns, which Barlemont watered every evening. This ■ went on for a month, then the son,'anxious-at not.receiving.his mothers found the-body.
