PRESBYTERY'S SYMPATHY. LOCAL BODIES' EXPRESSIONS. Tributes to the Kite Bishop Clcary were paid at meetings .tiki conferences throughout the city yesterday. Dr. Cleary'a passing was mentioned at the opening of the meeting of the Auckland Presbytery, by the moderator* the Rev. W. D.. Morrison-Sutherland. A letter of condolence to Bishop Liston was agreed upon by the Auckland Harbour Board. "Bishop Clcary was a very broad-minded man and had the respect of all denominations and classes of the community," said tlie chairman, Mr. M. H. Wynyard. Dr. Geary's death was also mentioned at the meeting last evening of the Mount Roskill Road Board, when the chairman, Mh E. F. Jones; said that Dr. Cieary had endeared himself to the people from AuCklarid to Dunediiij especially by his good Work among the poOr and needy.
