TRANSPORT BOARD TRIBUTE.
<rA tribute of respect to the memory of the late Bishop Cleary was paid to-day at the meeting of the Auckland Transport Board. "I have met Bishop Cleary on many occasions/' said the chairman,' Mr. J. A. C. Allum, "and I am sure that we all had the highest respect for him. I observed that his influence was always for the best, and that he did everything a good citizen could do to assist the good government and the life of this city." Members paid their tribute ,in the customary manner.
