A BOOK ABOUT THE FORD.
-VALUABLE ADVICE FOR OWNERS. "The Ford- Model,'A' Car" x is the title of an admirable book by Victor W Pa»e, and published by the Norman, w' Henley Publishing Company of New York. our. copy having come, through Messrs. >ngus and Robertson, of Sydney. Probably no other car in the world has been the subject of so much literature as the Ford, and in this book Mr.. Page has collected _ all there is to say'about its construction, operation and' repair. In the construction of his car the "ordinary driver, is but remotely interested, but the two' other sections of this-well written book are of vital interest to the driver, and particularly the. owner-driver. Apart from .the remarkably clear manner in which the writer tells his story and gives the most detailed instructions, one admires the profuse manner in which the text is illustrated. A photograph showing a man in the act of ''dismantling steering gear," "replacing clutch casing on gear box," and so on, is much more informative than a page of print. And there is hardly one of" the 543 pages of the book that has not an illustra,°"l , • 1S the most complete handbook ot.its kind we.have seen, and no Ford owner should fail to have,a copy with him; even, if -you know how to do things ab6ut;your car the book will doubtless show you a better way
