TERRIBLE TRAGEDY
Father And Five Children Perish In Fire. MOTHER BREAKS BOTH LEGS. (Received 11 a.m.) ALFRED (Ontario), December 4. Paul Baptists Same and five of his children, aged from two to ten years, were burned to death on Wednesday when fire destroyed their farm home. Mrs. Sauve threw her infant daughter into the snow and jumped with her eldest son, breaking both her legs. She may die.
