LINESMAN ELECTROCUTED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. !. An. electric linesman, Arthur Ben ton, aged 40, was electrocuted at Maungatua, near • Mosgipl, j.this afternoon. Benton was engaged with;-two other workmen putting an extra transmission line on to the main line from Waipori power station to Dunedin. The new line was being hauled across the main line, which was carrying 35,000 volts,' when Benton's hand apparently came in contact with the bar© wire. Benton, who was single, resided in Dunedin.' .' : •
