A "CHOPPY" AFTERNOON. ;■ The other Saturday afternoon, a Wellington man was , invited to go yachting. The afternoon turned out to be a cold and windy one, and the harbour was pretty "choppy." Soon the yacht was racing towards Ward Island, and happened to "go about" rather quickly, and before the Wellington man knew where ihe was, he was very nearly overboard. Fortunately his companions managed to. hang on to him and prevent the catastrophe. He arrived home later in the day, pretty wet and cold. "Give me my 'Baxter's'," he said to his wife when he got in. "I don't suppose sea water will give me a cold, but just tjhe same I'll take the precaution." Baxter's Lung Preserver is an unfailing safeguard against coughs, colds, 'flu, and all kinds of throat and chest complaints, whilst it possesses splendid tonic ■prppeities./; : : :■..: ' ~. More than 1,000,000 users of home electricity were added in 1928, 'but only 809,000 more cutrentoperated washers were adopted among these new customers and all the old ones.' The 'bureau states that the second ;(5,000,0.00 installations; will come much faster than "the first. • - : ■ Spray "rooms" freely witih 'Flytos" dur-~ ing, hot weather.
