VICAR APPOINTED.
HOLY SEPULCHRE CHURCH. The appointment of the Rev. G. Gordon Bell as vicar of the Church, of St. Andrew, ■ Cambridge, and Archdeacon of Waikato, created a vacancy at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Khyber Pass. The Rev. J. E. Draper has now been appointed vicar of the latter parish. Mr. Draper was educated under the late Canon Foster at St. Paul|s Missionary College, Burgh, Lincoln, England. He was still a student when the Great War broke out and saw service. Upon his return,' Mr. Draper passed his. examination for the licentiate of theology at Durham University. He was later ordained deacon to the Bishop of Waiapu by the Bishop of London, and became a priest in 1922. His first station in New Zealand was that of curate of Dannevirke, and iii 1923 he was transferred to. Hastings. Then in 1925 he was appointed vicar of Opotiki.
