Waddell, 'said that although the council was not willing to remit the rates due by sports hodieSj he thought it would agree, to any request to lease land under the Hamilton Domain Amendment Act, 1922. three decisions were finally,' arrived at by the board:— (l)sTo recommend the GovernorGeneral to execute a lease to:the Hamilton Tennis Club for a-period Si seven ■yearsyt under* the- Hamilton Domain Amendment Act, as suggested. A rental was proposed of £50 a'year for the first three years, and £75 for the remaining four years.
