ERROR IN TYPING?
ALLOCATION OF FUNDS. EDUCATION" BOARD PERTURBED. The Auckland Education Board is perturbed by advice from the Education Department that from December till the end of the current year the monthly amount payable to the board for the maintenance of school buildings will be £2075. It was reported that at present the allocation to the board was £2693, and it was thought that owing to an error in typewriting a nought had been substituted for a six in the hundred numerals. It was decided to ask for an explanation of the matter, as if the communication is correct a difference of £1000 a year will be made to the aggregate allocation.
