ONEHUNGA CLUB
The Oneluinga Club llew their single bird championship from Christchurch (47.3 miles). Liberated at 5.5 a.m. on ' Saturday in cyclonic weather, the winning bird battled its way through to arrive homo at 9.40 a.m. on Monday, beating the second bird by 20 minutes. These two birds were tho only ones to arrive home in race time Result :— Mr. A. Langton's b c h Cymone, 370 yds per minute j Mr. W. Sargent's bcli Rosella, *359 yds 2 Ihe old birds season's average race from all race points resulted: Mr. J. Wallace's team, 1054 yds, 1; Messrs. F. Wilson and Son's team, 1042 yds, 2; Mr. A. Langton's team, 1034 yds, 3; Messrs. Langton Bros.' team, 1026 yds, 4. •:
