OTAGO MATCH UMPIRES.
UNREGISTERED PLAYERS.
An admission that it had played three unregistered players against Grey Lynn was made by the Western Springs Club at last evening's meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association's management committee. The Western Springs Club asked for a decision from the committee. In view of tile fact that Grey Lynn had won it was decided not to take any action, but to point out the danger of clubs playing unregistered players.
The names of six umpires for the Plunket Shield match between Auckland and Otago were forwarded by the Umpires' Association. It was decided to forward the names of Messrs. W. A. Duff, R. E. Turton, .T. H. Harvey and F. M. Andrews to the Otago Association for selection. The transfer of J. Harding from the City Club to the Western United Club was granted, subject to the City Club's approval.
It was clodded to award Mr. J. Watts' bat to Bvitt, of the United Suburbs Club, the iirst junior to make a century this season. The bat presented by Mr. E. C. Bcale for tho second century scored in the senior competition was awarded to P. E Whitelaw, of the Parnell Club. The _use of Eden Park on December 1G and 17 for the Ileathcote Williams challenge match between Christchureh Boys' Iligli School and the Auckland Grammar School was granted. The reappointment of Messrs. G. .Tackson, E. C. Beale and X. H. E. Hockin to the advertising committee was confirmed. Ground charges for all the Plunket Shield and M.C.C. matches were fixed at 1/6 for entrance to the ground and 1/ extra for the stand.
