HAZLETT GOLD CUP.

D.J.C.'S AMBITIOUS PROJECT. MATCHING LIMERICK, NIGHTMARCH AND CHIDE. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Last season the Dunedin Jockey Club made a great hit when Aussie, Limerick and Rapier were attracted for the Hazlctt Gold Cup (a mile weight-for-age race).' at the autumn meeting -in February. The club is busy again in an endeavour to boom the next Dunedin Cup meeting. Once more the same race is tlie objective, and an effort is being made to secure the presence of Limerick, Nightmarch and Chide. It is too- early to say definitely that any one of the cracks will be at Win'gatui in February, even if their owners are favourable,"but if they are on the scene the Hazlett Cup contest will again make the Dunedin Cup meeting a great fixture.
