COUNTRY PARTY.
| WAIKATO CANDIDATE CHOSEN. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. A representative meeting of delegates of the Country Political League from all parts of the Waikato yesterday afternoon selected Mr. S. N. Ziman, of Cambridge, as the official candidate to contest the Waikato seat at the next election. Mr. Ziman was educated at the Auckland Grammar School and Auckland University College, and he -was the first New Zealand Rhodes scholar. He has had many years of administrative experience in India.
