Six Natives Who Suspected Black Magic.

MURDERS IN KRAAL. (Received 11 a.m.) CAPETOWN, November 27. Six natives have been sentenced to death for the murder of seven occupants of a kraal. Evidence established that the natives believed the owner of the kraal responsible for black magic, causing several deaths in the neighbourhood. A native advocate pleaded for mercy on the grounds that the natives were impelled by religious fanaticism which would continue until another Eastern Star appeared. The Court indicated its support of the recommendation to mercy.
