WIRELESS KISS.

MELBOURNE TO SUVA. RADIO TELEPHONE EXPERIMENT. SERVICE IN NEW YEAR. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SYDNEY, November 22.

Although the wireless telephone conversations which have taken place between Australia and Suva have not gone beyond the experimental stage, they have proceeded far enough to permit of a typist in Melbourne being kissed by wireless by her fiance in Suva.

This romantic episode occurred this week, when a young woman employed in the Melbourne office of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia),. Ltd., spoke to her fiance, who is a mechanic of the company carrying out experiments in Suva. She has not seen him for more than twelve months, and the directors of A.W.A. gave her special permission to help in the experiments with Suva.
