BOY SCOUTS LOSING PATRON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) • CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. At the annual meeting of tjie conncil of the Boy Scouts' Association to-day the chairman, Mr. J. R Kirk, referred to the impending departure of the patron of t association, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson. He said their Excellencies had made a deep impression on all by their wonderfully ■unselfish lives. Mr. Kirk moved: "That the council place on record its regret at the impending departure of Sir Charles Fergusson, whose inspiring and unselfish labours and -whose wise and helpful words have so greatly promoted the Scout movement in New Zealand. With 'its respect the council tenders to their 1 Excellencies its most cordial thanks and its best wishes for their future."
