VICTORIA LEAGUE DANCE.

The Symondsville Studio presented a •scene of brightness last evening, when an enjoyable At Home was held by the girls of the Ever-Ready Committee of the Victoria League. The function marked the close of activities for the year, and a very pleasant time was spent by all the dancers. Amethyst coloured steamers looped across the ballroom made it very and downstairs, where supper was served, vases containing yellow and golden Iceland poppies made a bright display. Excellent music was supplied by Miss Jean Macindoe's orchestra. During the evening a bouquet of flowers was presented to Mrs. L. S. Rickerby, chairman -of the committee, by the girls, in appreciation of her assistance throughout the year.
