TRANSFER OF CONSTABLES.
Sergeant Rowell and Constable Dever,eaux are under transfer to Otahuhu and Howick, respectively. At the sitting of the Thames Magistrate's Court, Mr. E. J. Clendon, on behalf of members the Thames Bar, said both officers were thoroughly deserving of the highest praise for the manner in which they had carried out their duties. Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., endorsed these remarks.
