ANNUAL MEETING HELD. Congratulations to the shareholders upon the results of the year, were extended yesterday .by the chairman of directors, Sir George Elliot, at the annual meeting of Messrs. Leyland-O'Brien limber Compaaiy, Ltd. He said the year had been one of difficulty, but by careful management the company had been able to pay its usual dividend. He moved the adoption of the report and balanee-sheet. . A dividend of 1/8 per share, free of income tax, was recommended. Of this lOd had been paid in April. The retiring directors, Sir Ge<jrge Elliot and Mr. S. H. Leyland, were elected unopposed, and Messrs.
