APPEAL DISMISSED.

(By Telegraph.—Ow Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. An appeal from a decision by Mr. P. W. Platts, S.M., was heard by Mr. Justice Herdman in the case in which Cyril Herbert Edgcumbe was the plaintiff in the lower Court, and Joshua Mathers was defendant. The original claim was for £184, representing moneys allegedly due under a share-milking and share-working contract, first at Netherton, and later at Monowai, near Te Kuiti. Judgment was given by the magistrate for Edgecumbe for £43 6/2, and £7 13/ costs. Against this judgment Mathers appealed. After the hearing of argument the appeal was dismissed, with £7 7/ costs, subject to the judgment heing reduced by £2.
